Our flagship methodology
Project Delivery Assurance™
Also known as Lifecycle IV&V — the evolution of traditional Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) — continuous, lifecycle oversight focused on maximizing successful business outcomes, evaluated across nine integrated performance domains. This is the broadest form of oversight we provide; our Independent Project Oversight service is a narrower, shorter-term subset of this same methodology, typically scoped to a specific risk area.
Successful oversight is measured by the problems prevented, not the findings filed.
Unlike traditional IV&V, Project Delivery Assurance™ extends beyond technical compliance reviews to evaluate governance, organizational readiness, procurement strategy, vendor performance, executive decision-making, quality management, cybersecurity, operational preparedness, business value realization, and long-term sustainability.
Our consultants work alongside executive leadership to identify emerging risks early, recommend practical corrective actions, and improve the probability of successful project delivery. Our objective is not to "grade" projects or assign blame — we work alongside executive sponsors, project leadership, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to identify opportunities for improvement while corrective action remains practical and cost-effective.
The methodology
Nine integrated performance domains.
01
Strategic Alignment
Does the initiative remain aligned with organizational priorities and measurable business objectives?
02
Governance
Are executive decision-making processes effective, timely, transparent, and properly documented?
03
Scope and Requirements
Are requirements complete, validated, traceable, and protected from uncontrolled expansion?
04
Solution Architecture
Does the technical architecture support long-term operational objectives while minimizing unnecessary complexity?
05
Delivery Performance
Is the project progressing according to approved schedule, budget, quality, and contractual expectations?
06
Cybersecurity and Risk
Have security, privacy, resilience, and operational risks been adequately identified and mitigated?
07
Testing and Quality
Does testing objectively demonstrate that the solution satisfies contractual, operational, technical, and business requirements?
08
Operational Transition
Can the organization successfully operate, support, maintain, and continuously improve the solution following implementation?
09
Business Value
Will the completed solution deliver the measurable business outcomes originally envisioned by executive leadership?
